Artist Statement

I work with a range of traditional and contemporary media including drawing, painting, sculpture, digital, film, poetry and dance installation.

I have been a practising Architect since 1984 and a dance performer and jazz percussionist from 1982. I established a professional Art practice in 2000. Drawing has become my primary mode of expression due to its spontaneity and immediacy of expression. The relationship between dance and drawing and syntheses between Dance, Music and Architecture from my foundation as an artist.

I currently teach ‘Painting to Music’ at mac Birmingham.
