Ian Lewis

Artist statement

Moving to Cornwall, inspired me to capture the beautiful landscapes and people that I found all around me. Fortunately, I caught the start of the digital era and this fuelled my creativity. Suddenly I found myself with the ability to capture images quickly and easily without considering the cost of film, all whilst discovering what Cornwall had to offer. I found myself wondering what was around the next corner on the coast path. Soon I was enthralled in landscape photography from dawn to dusk. As a contributing member to a camera club, I have found myself engrossed in all forms of photography, basically anything that puts me behind a camera I find a great escape and a happy place.
