Born 1985, works and lives in Birmingham
For the last 15 years I have been creating geometric optical illusions, effects that can make shapes move or appear 3D. My latest work has involved combining different optical effects to create more pronounced optical effects. My work as also been closely tied with my diagnosis on the autistic spectrum and has been a great source of therapy for the stress and anxiety that comes with it. The aim of my work is to create as dramatic an optical effect as possible to draw the viewer in looking for things in the work that play tricks with the eye and keep them looking for longer.
